Escort claims Shrien Dewani paid him for kinky sex sessions
London, Dec 15 : An escort has come forward to tell cops that British care home tycoon Shrien Dewani, who is suspected of having his wife murdered while honeymooning in South Africa, had paid him for kinky sex.
Dewani, 30, is suspected of hiring hitmen to kill his wife Anni, 28, and as part of the investigation cops wanted to know if he is secretly homosexual.
The German escort, 39, is understood to have contacted UK police after recognising the millionaire from pictures on TV news bulletins, and he told cops that he had slept with Dewani three times.
The man, from Munich, claims to have been in regular contact with Dewani for months and to have been paid by him for kinky sex sessions in the Midlands and West London.
The 6ft 2in, escort told the Metropolitan Police's special crime directorate that Dewani paid him a total of 1,100 pounds in cash for his services between September last year and this April.
Dewani's lawyers denied he had ever met the rent boy and claimed he has witnesses to corroborate his story.
"It is categorically denied. Shrien Dewani has never had a sexual relationship with a man in his life," the Sun quoted his spokesman, publicist Max Clifford as saying of the escort's claims.
Dewani, who is on bail while fighting extradition to South Africa, has also strenuously denied any involvement in his wife's murder last month.
He angrily insists he is not gay and that he was blissfully happy with his bride of just two weeks.
